PLANTING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Dig a hole three times as wide as rootball and 1”-2” less than the height of the rootball.
>

Soil
When planting a balled & burlapped plant, cut the burlap away from the rootball.
If a plastic material is used, remove it before planting.
After the plant is place in the hole, remove string and take out nails on top of burlap.
If wire is on, remove the top third and fold back the burlap off the sides of the ball.
The burlap will rot, allowing the roots to spread.
Plant it so that an inch of the original soil is above the ground.
Fill up the hole with the remaining mixture, packing the soil down lightly. Saturate the roots with a hose.
Make sure not to bury part of the trunk or stem.
